The 7th Asian Oncology Nursing Society International Conference (AONS 2025) stands as an esteemed forum dedicated to advancing oncology care through pioneering nursing research and collaboration. Organized around the theme—"SYNERGY: Shaping the Future through Education, Yielding Excellence, Nurturing Evidence-Based Research, and Guiding Oncology,"—this event convenes nurses in oncology, students, and a diverse community of healthcare professionals to explore innovative ideas, foster dialogue around evidence-based approaches, and discuss best practices in cancer care. By bringing together experts and emerging voices in oncology nursing, the AONS 2025 conference seeks to inspire collective growth and drive meaningful improvements in oncology nursing.
We invite you to submit ABSTRACTS for oral or poster presentations related to any of the sub-themes. Instructions for submission are at the bottom of this page.

RULES FOR SUBMISSION
- Research must have been conducted within the last five (5) years upon submission of abstract.
- Previous Publications of an Abstract – the work must not have been previously accepted by, or published in a peer-reviewed journal at the time of abstract submission
- Previous Presentation of an Abstract – the work must not have been previously presented at a meeting of any other scientific organization with more than 500 attendees before AONS 2025 Conference
- The same person may submit up to 5 abstracts regardless of presenting author.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
PLATFORM
- Abstracts must be submitted online via the EasyChair Platform of the conference only.
- ABSTRACTS SUBMITTED BY EMAIL WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
- Abstracts must be received by the announced deadline.
Before you begin, please PREPARE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:
- Presenting author’s contact details: Full first and family name(s); Email address; Affiliation details: department, institution / hospital; Country
- Author and co-authors’ details
- Preferred Presentation type: Oral Presentation or Poster. You may choose only one.
- Abstract title – must be in UPPER CASE and limited to 25 words. Please submit symbols as words.
- Abstract text – limited to 300 words including headings (ie. Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion)
- Abstract topic– select the abstract topic per the conference subtheme
- Abstracts should clearly state:
- Introduction
- Methods
- Results
- Discussion
- Category: Student or Professional
- In the platform, you will be asked to upload only one (1) PDF file. Limit to 1 page only.
- Upload your abstract following the structured format above (ie. Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion)
- File naming conventions: LastName_FirstName of Presentor_Abstract.pdf
Other important guidelines
- Text only is to be submitted. Tables, figures, and bulleted text are not permitted.
- Use generic names of drugs. The presentation must be balanced and contain no commercial promotional content.
- Submissions may not contain patient names, hospital ID numbers, or other identifying information.
- Numbers over 999 must include a comma, e.g., 2,000.
- Decimal points must be displayed as periods (4.89) not commas (4,89).
- Numbers beginning with a decimal point should be preceded by a zero.
- Periods should be used in numbers for decimal points, not commas, i.e. P=0.015
- All measurements must be in metric units.
- Abstracts stating “data will be discussed in the presentation” will NOT be accepted.
- Click on the SUBMIT button at the end of the process in order to save your abstract. You CANNOT make changes to your abstract after you click submit.
- You will receive an abstract reference number via email after you have submitted your abstract. Please refer to this abstract number in all correspondence regarding the abstract
- Please do not submit multiple copies of the same abstract.
GENERAL GUIDELINES & OTHER REMINDERS
- Eligibility: Registered Conference Attendees (both professionals and students) are welcome to submit and present. The presenting author must be registered and present at the conference to be awarded with Certificate of Presentation and be eligible for Awards.
- Notice for Students: Those joining as students must include faculty research adviser/s as co-author. Ensure that appropriate clearance is secured from the College/School/University before submission.
- Registration: Only abstracts of authors who have paid their registration fees by the date indicated in the notification email will be scheduled for presentation and included in the conference proceedings and program.
- Ethics & Confidentiality: Ensure adherence to ethical standards and confidentiality guidelines.
- Conflict of Interest: Disclose any conflicts in your submission.
- Certificate of Presentation: All presenters will receive a certificate and be listed in the final conference program.
LIMITATIONS
- Submission of an abstract acknowledges your acceptance for the abstract to be published in the official Conference publications.
- The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract and agree to its submission, before submitting the abstract.
- Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest: Abstract submitters will be required to disclose any conflict of interests in the submission form.
- Instructions for preparation of presentations will be made available on the Conference website and will be sent via email.
SELECTION PROCESS
All abstracts will be evaluated anonymously and scored by the Research Committee members and reviewers.
Criteria for selection include: Relevance to the conference theme; Research quality and rigor; Clarity of writing and organization; Originality and significance; Potential impact on nursing/oncology care; Overall impression.
The Committee will determine whether the abstract will be accepted for presentation, with consideration given to the author’s preference.
PUBLICATION
The Asia Pacific Journal of Oncology Nursing (APJON) is the official publishing partner of Asia Oncology Nursing Society (AONS). Excellent researches may be invited to publish to APJON.

The submission and review of papers for AONS 2025 will be managed through an online conference paper management system called EasyChair.

1. SET UP AN ACCOUNT
- Go to https://easychair.org/my/conference?conf=aons2025 then click on Create Account
- Fill up the details needed in the Account Creation Pages
- Fill up the form with your details then click Continue
- Enter the verification code sent to your email then click Create Account
- Log in using your Email address and Password
2. SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT
- Click on make a submission
- Fill up the Author/s details
- Check that you have the correct details for the following:
- Name/s of the author/s
- Email address
- Country
- Affiliation
- Do not forget to identify the Presenter. Note: Only one (1) presenter per submission.
- Type your title in CAPITAL LETTERS
- Type your abstracts with headers Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion
- Identify at least three (3) Keywords
- Check at least one (1) topic that is most relevant to your submission. You can select more than one.
- Identify the following:
- Preferred type of presentation
- Student category
- Conflict of interest
- Upload the PDF of your abstract with file name LastName_FirstName of Presenter_Abstract.pdf
- Click Submit
